VoLTE video calls

I just learned about a new phone standard that is scheduled to be rolled out by the major wireless carriers beginning 2013 that will allow for voice and video calling over 4G LTE cellular networks. For once, it won't matter what carrier you are using and what brand phone you have, the phone's native dialing software will receiver HD audio phone calls as well as HD video calls simply by dialing the phone number. It would be great if AT&T develops an app for U-Verse that would accept these calls and allow dialing out by adding a USB webcam to a U-Verse box. The remote would be used to answer a call or as a dialing pad for calling out. Incoming calls would flash the Caller ID on the scree, giving the option to answer it or ignore it.
