Does anyone know if they are working on a Voicemail Viewer App for Android? I could find no indication of that elsewhere.

If ATT is they haven't indicated it here in the forum.

Thank you for the Youmail suggestion. I checked into the software and it appears that in order for Youmail to function that you must forward the calls to a another number. This is quite a compromise for me as it prevents use of *98 for retrieving calls when at home.
I feel sure that they will adapt the Viewer for Android at some point. Android handsets are outselling both Blackberry and iPhones so it is only a matter of time before the market share numbers will require it. If they don't, some other, cheaper supplier of VOIP will and some, like myself, might just switch to obtain that feature.

Yeah.. I just got my service installed yesterday and was excited when I got wind of the voicemail viewer... but crushed when I found there wasn't an Android client yet.

This is more of a workaround than a solution but I did figure out a way (sort of) to make this work on an Android phone. Since most Android users have a Gmail account, use that account to setup an iGoogle page. Add the Voicemail Viewer to the iGoogle page. When you access the page on your Android the calls can be played, etc. I believe that this probably requires your device to have Flash installed (Android 2.2 or higher). In any case, this will tie me over until a dedicated application for the Android arrives.

I know this is an old thread, but I installed the app AT&T Voicemail Viewer today on my Verizon Incredible 2 and it seems to work well. Solves a long time issue with U-verse voice mail.
