We have the U300 which includes several espns, NFL network, Speed, GOLF, Versus, several fox sports, and yet in the myriad of sports channels there is no MLB network. It debuted Jan 1, 2009. Did someone drop the ball and forget to flip the switch for AT&T. My neighbor with cable has had the channel since January. Am I to believe that cable would be my best option at this point. If the baseball season is to start and MLB Network is not even recognized as a channel by AT&T, I may be forced to cancel my contract and switch over to cable.
Oh, boy... Here we go again. Are you familiar with the "search" function, on web based forums? If so, you would see, sorry to borrow your term, a "myriad" of threads that are identical with this very one, going many weeks back requesting the exact same thing. Sorry to rant, but this is a weekly occurance with "newbies."
That being said, to powers that be, in the almighty programming department at AT&T, I want MLB Network as well.
Remember, patience is a virtue.

Patience is a virtue?
The network debuted in Jan. Baseball season starts in a month. You mean to tell me the AT&T will address this issue within the month while it has seemingly ignored it for the last three?
I guess I'm just pessimistic and would like some kind of answer.

This is a U-verse subscriber community resource, not an corporate ran board, for empoyees to solve problems of individual customers. That is why alot of us have been asking for months, as have you, and guess what? The result has been? "Silence." You will also notice on those forementioned threads, people have called into the service department, and not even those people know. Most of the veterans on here have learned, when it comes to new channel request, "It is a wait and see approch." until you see the infamous "Coming Soon" on the channel guide, nothing is definate.

We all have to make choices in life. Cable has some advantages, so does U-Verse. If this one particular thing is a deal breaker, you should go (but if you do, just do it, don't spend weeks here saying how you might do it unless U-Verse caters to your every whim, because I promise you that doesn't do anything except annoy people). People leaving U-Verse over MLB Network is probably the one thing that will have any effect on the U-Verse actually getting it.

Um...there is no contract.
