AT&T it it's your turn now.
And, please add the Pac-12 Network when it launches in August. If it is not added I will be forced to switch to Time Warner.

Two posts on the forum and two threats to switch to Time Warner.

Count me in as well. I will certainly consider switching in the next oupe months if at&t doesn't announce something before football season.

I don't think you'll see the WatchESPN app until the current contract ends between ATT and ESPN (whenever that is). My folks have Time Warner, once a new contract was negotiated between TW and ESPN last year they got some extra goodies which included the app. I'm almost willing to bet that Comcast's contract also renewed recently, that's why they got the app also. My 2 cents.
I actually use my parents TW e-mail (they don't use it) to authenticate the WatchESPN app.

That is exactly the situation with Comcast. The new deal, which included the WatchESPN app, was reached in January. Now they are rolling out the WatchESPN app.

Good point, but I'm guessing that since AT&T added CBS College Sports (now known as CBS Sports), there was no need for the poster to switch.
Honestly, I find the mention of Comcast in the title and a threat to switch to someone else more bewildering than the second threat to switch.

Winner! Winner!
Notice that Time Warner didn't have ESPN3 until their contract with ESPN was up for renewal. Time Warner refused to pay the five cents per internet subscriber per month to ESPN to give their customers access to ESPN3. As a result, WatchESPN was created. A customer of Time Warner MUST have ESPN through their Time Warner TV service AND Time Warner Internet service.
I bet it'll be at least 2-3 years before we see WatchESPN. Until then, do as already suggested and use someone else's email address.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the WatchESPN app.

They added CBS Sports, no need to switch.
However, if college football season starts and I cannot watch my Alma Mater play because AT&T chose not to pick up the Pac-12 network, I will switch to Time Warner.

Don't rush to switch, it could be like the Longhorn network and very few major providers carry it. mostly due to cost and lack of interest except in a small portion of the country.

Are you referring to the app or the website?
The WatchESPN app, which is being discussed in this thread, in only for the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. There is no app for a laptop.

For U-verse, accessing the WatchESPN website is the same as accessing espn3.com. U-verse internet customers have always had access to espn3.com.
Full access to WatchESPN would also allow the channels ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU to be watch online or on your mobile device. U-verse subscribers do no have access to watch these channels online. Only Time Warner, Brighthouse, Verizon FIOS and Comcast customers have full access.

larry scott made sure and secure carriage with the major cable cos out here, so unlike the shorthorn network, the national version of the pac 12 network will be in at least 40 million homes nationwide on launch day.
thats not counting any further carriage agreements that the conference may come to with other providers like Dish Direct or uverse

So far only 4 providers have stated they are going to carry it. TWC, Comcrap, Cox and Brighthouse. That leaves quite a few "major" providers that have not announced carriage yet.

You are right, not every major carrier has said it will carry it (yet). I am hoping AT&T Uverse picks it up because if they don't I will switch to Comcast. Hope it doesn't come down to that.

those are the 4 largest cable cos in the country, so sticking to the analogy that was made to the longhorn network, well, there isnt much of one, since they only had a few mom and pop locals companies, and some on verizon.
while deloss dodds mac brown and company are laughing to the bank, it has been an disaster business wise for ESPN. Negotiations pited not just cable network vs cable co, but pro ut subscriber vs anti ut subscribers.
back to the thread topic, i just got comcast tv, and the girls wanted to watch nick jr, and i wanted to watch college football live, well guess what, thanks to watch espn we were all able to get to watch our shows, awesome says I!
