I was a very happy DSL (AT&T) customer for many years, then because our phone bill kept going up every month I switched over to a different company (who does not have internet options). When I told AT&T to keep only our interent portion - that is when crazy things started to happen. I was told they could do that, but then about aa week later I starting getting all this equiptment in the mail. I phoned them to ask why I was geting this - the reply "unsure - just send it back". As it turns out apparently because I dropped our phone service - they changed my interent package to U-Verse and raised the price. I am not complaining about the price - still is pretty fair, but for what they said U-verse would do as far as speed - NOW that's a joke! My DSL was a heck of alot faster and now I can barely connect and when I do I am left hanging for almost 2 minutes while it decides what to do. Talking to a tech is not really any help inless I want to pay for a specialist to help me. Here's the thing AT&T Tech's - if our computers were working just fine before we switched - then just MAYBE something is wrong on your end! If someone has a clue on how to increase speed with this U-verse interent let me know - my laptop is newer and I do not play games or watch videos on it - just basic things.

Call tech support using the phone number in my sig. Ask the CSR to do a test on your system for errors, and let them know wha tissues you are having with your internet speed.
