Hey everyone! So I live in CT and up until November 26, 2008 I watched every single Celtics game on Comcast SportsNet New England on AT&T Uverse except for the nationally televised games. On November 26 all of a sudden the games were blacked out. I contacted Tech Support and was told that it could be because the game was not sold out. Then he proceeded to tell me that the next couple of games were going to be blacked out. Well in the NBA games can not be blacked out due to a game not being sold out. That's the NFL and MLB. The games continued to be blacked out so I contacted AT&T again and spoke with a manager who pretty much said there was nothing he could do. I asked if there were changes to the contracts between AT&T & Comcast but he didn't know and had not heard anything. So I then proceeded to send an email to Comcast SportsNet New England and never heard back. I emailed the CT Attorney General who pretty much said cable companies can do whatever they want. So I contacted AT&T again and I asked the Tech guy I spoke to if I could speak to someone in programming. He said he couldn't transfer me & I told him people on the forums said they were able to talk to someone in programming. He put me on hold so he could "speak" to a manager & when he got back on he said he would send an email to programming. I told him to put on there that I wanted to be contacted by someone in programming but I have not heard anything. He also kept trying to check to see if the game was on another channel but I kept telling him the game was not nationally televised so he obviously did not know what he was doing. My brother is in CT & has Cox cable & is able to get all the games. Everyone I spoke to at AT&T I told them this & they had no answer for it. I can't understand how they can go from showing all the games and then all of a sudden one day the games are blacked out with no notification. It is bad enough that the sound keeps going, the cable box mutes my tv without me having to touch anything, the screen freezes and the gateway goes out which AT&T has been notified of but now I am unable to watch any Celtics games and I believe this is happening to everyone in the US with their respective teams. On top of that AT&T didn't advise anyone that they were going to be blacking out the games on the Comcast channels. I find this unacceptable and am very unhappy with this. We all pay a lot of money for cable and should be able to watch the games. Oh and the Celtics are one of my local teams so I should be getting the games and I have checked this so I know this is correct. 

So for anyone who writes on here about us complaining we have reason to complain & as you can read from this I have done a lot of things to try to find out what's going on and no one is helping me and I find that very sad. If the contract between AT&T & Comcast is no longer valid than they should have been honest and made an announcement so that no one was deceived.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!  I could not believe my eyes when I saw the Warriors were actually on in HD.  What a great day to see that, most excellent.  AT&T has listened to our cries and for that I commend them.

Now that this channel has finally been added I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about AT&T.  Their menu guides are much better than the other companies with the picture showing through in the background of the guide and their picture in picture whenever you change the channel is great.  The menu and fast forwarding etc. is much more responsive than the other companies with minimal lag.  My DVR I still have no idea how much space I am allowed or have left but I do not care because everything just keeps recording fine.  They have a great selection of channels as well.

Thank you to everyone who kept this thread going and rising to the top as often as possible.  A thanks goes out to everyone who hated on us for posting so much because it helped bring the thread to the top  and keep attention on the matter. Thanks to everyone who has shared their experiences.  Thanks to everyone who called or emailed AT&T with continuous asking for the channel.  The day has come! Time to rejoice!!!

Just so you know, you can see how much space you have left by going through the following steps;

(this can only be done on the DVR STB)

hit menu, scroll over right to "options", select "system settings", go down and select "system information", scroll over right to "system resources", and the percent that you see for "Disk Usage: 20% remeaining" is how much space you have left on your DVR.

They are going to announce it, but most of the time the announcements come sometimes several weeks after most of us know a service is available.

WOW! Thanks Uverse for finally coming through with CSN BA in HD! I took some time away from thish forum as I was too pi$$ed but thanks to everyone who kept supporting this, and thanks to the "Uverse Honks" who hated on us and said we were whiners that kept the thread fresh.

I revisited this thread today just to see if there were any new developments, and now I'm enjoying my beloved, sh*tty warriors in all their High-Definition glory!

Who knows, maybe they read this and listened to us, or maybe the decided they were going to just jack our prices up and bowed to whatever number Comcrap wanted for the HD channel. Either way, I'm stoked.

Now, if there are enough MLB fans left in this country, let's beat the drum for MLB Network! (Doubt it gets much momentum, but I've seen the channel and think it's pretty cool, much more interesting than Tennis TV or NHL network, IMO).

My channel guide now shows CSB HDa on channel 1771 which would be an HD version of the CSB Plus channel used when games conflict. Maybe we will be getting a few more HD games. The CSBA website doesn't even show this channel exists yet. The channel may not be up and running yet.

Well, see the C in your channel name?  Stands for ComCrap and they are playing games w/restricting

the HD to only certain outlets and obviously not Uverse.
