Almost daily I loose the signal from the Fox News high definition channel. This happens about 7:30 P.M. Central time on Channel 1210. I can switch to the analog channel (210) and watch. Channel 1210 comes back to life around midnight. This is the only channel this happens to. High Def. or otherwise. I'm not recording at the time or have anything else on that might affect the signal. What could be causing this?

If unplugging the box while you're not recording anything doesn't do the trick, then call tech support.
Unplug box when you're not recording anything
Wait 30 seconds
Plug back in.
Does problem still occur? Call tech support.

This is what I call the "Black Screen of Live TV." It is a known U-Verse issue and I have only seen it on the DVR set. It can affect any channel, HD or SD. You should be able to see it in preview mode (ie go down a channel, press the up arrow to invoke channel in channel preview and the picture is displayed) and record it, just fine. You can restart the DVR box and all will be fine but that messes with recording live tv. This happens to almost everyone, as far as I know.
