I lost mail on desktop last night, but was able to get it on iPhone & iPad until morning.
The frustration of troubleshooting this would have been solved with simple advanced notice. Instead, I talked with three tier two folks and an Apple support tech, all of whom blamed the other.
One tier two person suggested and I agreed to a $15 per month Connectech Service. That person actually knew of the Server problems. I hope this just wasn't a ploy to get folks to sign up for paid service!! They also say you can't cancel for 12-months. That doesn't sound right.

Sorry if this is a bit of a bump, but I've been experiencing the same issue, today and yesterday. Has email been working for everyone else?
