I'm thinking of dropping uverse, primarily for one reason. One of our local PBS channels has several
sub-channels (OTA signal comes in over 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, AND 54.1, 54.2, 54.3). All uverse
carries is the 9.1 and 54.1 equivalent. We tend to watch 9.3 more than anything else. I contacted
the channel, and they advised me that they have offered uverse the other channels for NO CHARGE.
So who do I contact to ask that they be carried? I can't imagine I'm the only one for whom this is a
problem. Comcast carries ALL of them.

U-Verse does not carry Over The Air sub-channels. Until they do, you will not find satisfaction. If and when it ever happens, no one knows.

I also agree that this is one area where U-Verse's decision not to carry / provide something is mind boggling. However, some stations might offer them to U-Verse for free but that does not mean that it will be without cost to AT&T. There will be equipment and implementation costs.
Long story short, try contacting Alex, one of the AT&T Community Managers with this as a suggestion. He will pass it along..

This issue has be thinking about canceling during our firsat 30 days. The local cable company carries all three PBS channels, and our PBS affiliate separates programming so the older kids' programming is on the second channel. None of that is available to me on U-Verse in Sacramento. I can pull out some rabbit ears, but that won't get me a DVR. The U-Family tier is really stripped down already, at least give me the stuff I could get for free before.
