weird sound on some chanels?

ok i just swtiched from time warner cable and some shows and chanels have a wierd sound to them like one show how its made its hard to explain but the voice doesnt sound right or 100% clear i have changed the setting in menu and it didnt help and the only thing i can think of trying is to use a hdmi cable btw its not my tv it works fine with dvd/blueray and worked fine with my old provider

Do you have it set for stereo or surround ?

I watch that show alot and mine is in DD surround and the voice (narrator) sounds fine.

I have that problem sometimes all I do is change the channel than change back too the channel.

Whatever happened with this problem? I just had U-verse TV installed and all the TVs except the one hooked up to the DVR have SEVERE distortion on the audio. It sounds like some one is grabbing their throat while they are talking or they are talking into a jar. I REALLY don't want to talk to technical support about this, it's like pulling teeth.
