Hi so this isn't the first time I've been ddos'd. It happens when I'm connected to a server playing a game and this one person shows up who says it's going to happen. A few minutes later my interent completely goes out. I'm sick of having to reset my router everytime so I called U-veres's help line. They pointed me in the direction of my router fire wall settings for the game. I entered the ports and we'll see if this works because I don't want to pay an extra $15 dollars a month for something I didn't do.
Another thing, I want to get this kid in trouble. I have done nothing wrong and I've read you can get arrested for DDOSing someone. Please tell me how to go about this.

I doubt the Uverse tech understood your problem because opening ports for the game has nothing to do with preventing DOS
If your playing on an official game server (one that's run by the game distributor) you should be able to report them to the server administrator which will probably get them banned. If your on private servers (run by another player) you won't have that recourse, but you could try using an online proxy server which should hide your true IP address from the other gamers and if they start DOSing your proxied address the proxy server administrator may take action.
If you have logs showing that this person is DOSing you, including the IP address of the person, you should be able to report them to AT&T. When you call, ask for the network abuse/security department.
