ATT customer service has really gone downhill. It used to be you would call and they would try to make you happy as a customer. Now, they could care less. I had a technician come out to supposedly wire a CAT 5 line in my house.
He did not do it, but still charged $150. When I called ATT to get this credited back to my account, they refuse.
They say I need to call technical support for technical problems. Really, I have no technical problems.
Then they say it is for a residential gateway. Really?? You cannot read??
I have had ATT for a long time, and I have always paid my bills on time.
They don't care about their customers.
YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! Rude and condescening. They try to act like you don't know what you are talking about.

Try contacting Alex, one of the AT&T Community Managers for further assistance.
When you say "Your customer service..." please be advised that you are not talking to AT&T. You are primarily talking to other customers as this is a peer to peer forum.
