I need to add a concern placed to this AT&T Community Support about Connec Tech. I have found Connec Tech Support Support to be a completely terrible service as well as most AT&T Customer Service reps; they just get you everytime you call for a service issue. I've called several times to cancel the darn support service that was install without my consent and fairly agreement.
My issue started on 03/26/12 when I called AT&T for help on my Internet Browser and slow HS internet service and possible modem problem. My called got re-directed to above department and I was inform about the service that Connec Tech offers as well as pricing and contract, on such day I asked about a possible lower monthly fee for such said service and the rep just gave me the run around and said that he will check after my issue was remotely resolved. After half a day of being on the phone with such very slow system knowledge rep that ended up transferring me to a more advance rep that helped me with my issue. The first rep never came back online and I ended up getting stuck with a yearly contract that no one confirmed me to get.
Several days passed and I checked my e-mail account to find out that this service was applied in my ATT account. I called right away to try to complain and tried to cancel but the lousy rep said that a Supervisor was going to call me back in a few days to investigate about the day I called for service on the above on 03/26/12. No supervisor ever bother to call me back and I got charged for the first month. I called again on 04/16/12 to canceled my complete service with such crooked company (ATT) and the retentions and customer service reps assured me that they were going to cancel me and just to pay the first month service since I already used their connec service. I agreed, spoke to Michelle and Karen (need to track my call) and stayed with ATT. Such terrible Connec service was never canceled as said. So I called again on 05/02/12 Keomila rep answered and ended up canceling for me but assured me that an early termination fee of $100 was my share, followed with a confirmation e-mail n that a supervisor from such dept was to call me to trace my call back on 03/26/12 when I supposedly agreed to such commitment. On such confirmation e-mail shows that the service is canceled as of 05/26/12 forcing me to pay for another month of service that was never fully agreed to.
Concluding, I URGE you to fully investigate this issue and give me the proper credits on my account as far as cancelation fee and monthly service fees before I open up a claim with the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commision website, lets save some time and do something about it!

I sincerely apologize that you have had a bad experience. I would like to get your issue escalated but I need you to send me a personal message with your account information. Don’t worry your credit card on file will automatically be charged, you can never cancel, and you will always be a completely satisfied customer.
ATT is so large of a corporation that they have completely forgotten the needs of its customers and each division of their company seems cut off from the other so naturally a transfer will solve most issues for the agent, being transferred from one agent to the next over and over , each time takes at least 15-20 min and then having to explain your situation over and over again seems what they count on so you will become so completely stressed and feel futile in your efforts that we are expected to give up is what I feel each time I call ATT for anything.
