I have exactly the same problem. Tried to call AT&T and nobody answers.

I could only wish... mine went from the agreed to $14.95 per month to $144.70.

Ok i have been paying way to much for this DSL service, especially since ATT is offering 14.95 and 19.95 to new customers. How do I get these rates for being a loyal customer? I also want a bundle discount with my directtv account. Help Please!

SAME PROBLEM HERE~! Please send me the SAME information.
What's the deal? it is supposed to go from the "introductory rate" of $19.95 to $24.95 for a DSL Only Account.
I am tired of being ripped off by AT&T and having to make my way through 30 minutes of phone menus, 45 minutes of hold time and 3 or 4 "cold" phone transfers starting from someone you can't understand with absolutely no knowledge to finally gettting a concerned american I can communicate with who has the authority or knows someone to "FIX" your problem and MAYBE....JUST MAYBE....APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT HAPPENED and make it "sound" sincere...even though you know they are not~!
Called AT&T about this and this is what they told me.....

My service also jumped up over 50% and my promotion that I was under ended. They told me that a new promotion would be mailed to my home. They could not tell me when the promotion would be mailed or if it was already mailed (perhaps, I tossed it out). They could not place a request to mail me a new promotion.
So, loyal customer is screwed.
If anyone has a promo please let me know how to get it. I am very close to just canceling my AT&T account. Why should I pay $40 a month when I know others are paying $20 or less?
