Just curious to see how many different price structures there are for the service they provide. I have had ATT DSL for probably 3 years now, and it has always been $30 a month for Elite. All of a sudden it jumps 19% with no notification? I did call customer service and got a "one time" $6 credit, but every other rate increase on the phone bill is notified at least a month ahead of time.
When I asked about the increase, I was told it was because of new technologies and ATT wanting to be competitive in the market...competitive in my mind means lowest price...and just how are these new technologies going to benefit me by charging me an extra 19% per month? I probably shouldn't complain much because I think the ATT DSL service is better than the Time Warner internet service I got rid of.

I have had At&t for 3+ years and have fought with them several times over increases that were neither announced or explained, they have made adjustments and then jump it back up again. They did it again this month with a 50% increase. Last time my only relief came after contacting the public service commission. It is as if At&t does not want loyal customers, after reading the posted complaints I am not going to play the customer service line merry go round any more. I will E-mail my complaint to customer service, a copy to the BBB, and a copy to the public service commission. I recommend everyone do this as I said At&t does not seem at all to care. This is one of the worse ran companies I have ever dealt with and this is the same reason I cancelled their phone service and most likely will have to cancel my DSL. I am totally sick and tired of their games and lack of customer service.
