Moved to new address, Being billed twice each month for DSL

I recently moved. I was told that I could not bring my old internet account with me to my new address and that I had to cancel the service at my old address and set up new service at my new address.
The problem is that I am now getting two bills each month. One for the new address and one for the old address.
Please help me cancel my old service and get my accounts squared up! Thank you!
