I am authorized to speak on the account because I am a social security payee for my mother assisted her in ordering the new AT&T Service at her new address in April 12th, 2012. The service could not be installed until we gave the account number of her bank. This means that autopay was initiated for the phone service provider and AT&T has been debiting the account since April the beginning of the service.
The first bill was debited $189, $164 for last month and threatening to debited $324.60 for August 6, 2012. I have looked at the bill and it states that there was no payments made on the previous balance of $164.01. I would like to know why is there no electronic intelligence for these transactions on debiting my mother's checking account, sucking all the funds out of it at no discrepancies. My mother was not also allowed to have the package value of the account and paying close the original amounts for all services of Uverse TV, Internet and Voice. My mother is over the age of 65 and live in a retirement building where she needs a phone but it seems her intercom is not operable also.
I had to fax the phone company were she previously moved from to explain that I had Right of Attorney previlages on speaking about my mother's financial matters especially.
I faxed over a form for the approval and I have a password to speak over the phone on this account. There are 0.00 amounts on my mother's current billing statement in payments when the bill is on the AUTOPAY SYSTEM.
