Hello, I am trying to get info for a customer who is a friend of mine, and no one has been able to answer my question yet. I have called, chatted, and now I am resorting to the forum. I am an AT&T employee, but I do not work in the DSL department, I am trying to obtain this info for a friend and customer who is not technical. My question is this: Are BUSINESS DSL accounts supposed to receive 2-Line Phone DSL Filter's in their installation package? Link to 2-Line filter: http://www.att.com/equipment/accessory-details/?q_ categoryid=cat2020068&q_sku=sku3950301&q_manufactu ... This customer has 2 telephone lines at their business. With the 1 line filters they were supplied with, if they connect them, their 2nd phone line is not useable. Should this customer have received a 2-Line filter with the installation package? Or are ALL customers provided with the single line filters, and then they have to order the 2 line filters? Please note that I am not referring to a dual port filter which connects a telephone and a DSL modem. I am referring to a filter to which a phone with 2 lines (2 pair, same cable) connects. Thank you!!

the package only contains 3 single-port and 1 dual-port (splitter) DSL filters. they have to order that 2-Line DSL filter to separate the 2 numbers coming from one phonejack.

I extend my gratitude to you for contacting us through the AT&T forums.
The filter that you are talking about (2Wire 2-Line Phone DSL Filter), is not the part of the package sent by AT&T. Your friend needs to buy that filter.
In order to place an order to buy a new filter and get information about DSL package provided with AT&T Business services, it is recommended that you contact AT&T order department at 800-499-7928 (working window: Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm CT, Saturday & Sunday Closed).
