I want Dsl Or Uverse. How can i get it??

Hi, My name is Ryan and i live in Fairmont, North Carolina. I have been trying for years to get High Speed internet at my home. We have had our home phone service with At&t for about 20 years now. I call all the time to check the availability and to worry the reps hoping that one day my voice will be heard. But everytime i call my heart breaks as i hear them say that High Speed Internet is not offered in my area. Is there any way at all that i can get High speed internet at my home?? There has to be a way. I refuse to believe that im doomed to never have high speed internet. Its just not fair. There are TONS of homes around where i live, the market is here. What do i need to do?? Please help.

Ryan - I'm in the same boat as you. I live in a populated residential area and was told, by AT&T there are no more phone lines available and the only way is if a neighbor moves or cancels their service. Not sure as to why they just cannot install another line. I could get cable internet but it quite expensive - a lot higher than what AT&T advertises.
I would think AT&T would make every effort to solve this issue you and I are having.

Yea, i would go with a cable company, but no company what-so-ever has high speed internet in my area. I would have to settle for Hughes Net (Blah). I currently use my Cell phone as a mobile hotspot on a 5 gb limit, which sucks because i cant do everything i want online, for fear of going over my data limit. There has to be something i can do. How can it not be available to every person.
