The first time I left it was due to poor service. Tech support had me change something that essentially shut down my modem, yet denied they had done it and refused to help me. I was without internet for several weeks, they wouldn't fix it (not their problem) so I changed service providers. I was lured back to AT&T by price. Now that I am moving, they claim I must now buy all new equipment, even though my equipment is only a year old. Then the CSR quoted me one price on the web then after 40 minutes on the phone with another CSR to set it up, the price is 2.5x higher than what I was quoted. THEN they can't get my service on for a week. THEN I try to email someone about my experience and I my only option is to call again. I wasted my entire lunch hour with this mess and don't wish to waste any more time on hold. It's not like anyone will address my problem anyway. I am fed up with their business practices. The CSR had a bad attitude from the get go. I even told him what I had been quoted, then he acted surprised when I was upset about ti being so much higher. I simply want my service transferred, not a big sales pitch. Apparently I am asking too much.
