This topic has stalled without resonse.?? Always facing off this new merged service of ATT & Yahoo!, and the ongoing development of image 'IDs' as a method of phishing/scam readiness across the WEB, I am interested in why coping with the new ATT/Yahoo has a multiple image 'ID' set of listings for each user/subscriber, and why this was considered as not a valuable continuity with the paid services, or at least an allowance for the individualized image ID concept as a integration with the DSL forum 'clip art' style of 'avatar' image indexed as a couple hundred shared and therefore 'non-ID' images. Appearance and value as styled but not valuable, can the refusal to allow the preloaded ATT and Yahoo images already indexed to out persons be a true advantage here? I was irritated, and confused, but realize bandwidth, server complexification with added software, and the slowing of the service might be a 'cost' type set of factors. I am sure most would like to be given a 'photo ID', or personal 'graphic' alternative to the rather dim, dark, and limited number of shared 'avatars' currently used. I found them cute but not an ID, and confusing. I use the personal uploaded IDs at many other forums, blogs, and technical sites, and, they give confidence and the selective reading ordering needed by persons active in many online group discussion processes. I also found that all my pages accessed through the DSL Forum log-in did not display the registered image IDs as yet, with only a partial number accessed as yet from this path. Additionally while trying to move from my first forum posting. just prior to this second, I was logged out automatically, and forced to re-log-in to post a second topic reply. Why so? Additionally your current code sends a logged-in person to an error statement page which does not allow a true response understanding about the state of the 'ID' logging. Stressed complainants should be reinforced with confident interactions.

oh, i was referring to the forum avatar. sorry for not being clear.

i visited the U-Verse forum a couple of times before, but have not joined the community. i don't have U-Verse service. i noticed that they are using their own avatars. they are all nice. LOL

for now, i'd stick with my heart avatar. thank you again!
