so i got my phone from ebay b/c i don't have a contract i am prepaid and the box is in spanish and the type of lg it says it is is a MG270, but looking on cingular website it is a f9100. my problem is that the G that is suppose to come up by the signal icon is not there. i can't download any music or get connected to the internet because of this. the phone says that it has telcel. which i looked up and is clearly from mexico. i was wondering if there is a way to convert the telcel into a u.s.a. brand that will allow me to download ringtones and get connected. please let me know if anyone can help me. thank you.
