I am in NY and often travel to Japan for business.
I know AT&T operates 850/1900MHz for 3G network and Japan does 2100MHz.
Now I am going to get Austalian cell phone which supports UMTS 850/2100MHz.
Do you think it's gonna be a big problem in USA, especially in NY tri-state area
without UMTS 1900MHz support?
I don't know which frequency is more widely spreaded in USA, 850MHz or 1900MHz.

Right now there's a lot more AT&T 3G on 1900MHz than on 850MHz. Only AT&T knows what it'll look like in the future.
