Ive always heard that if you want the true picture of a product, service, etc, to go to a forum and get a feel of actual customers are saying and experiencing.
I wonder if the FCC browses the wireless forum to get an unbiased analysis of what customers are posting regarding their experience and coverage (good and bad). I wonder what the statisitics are showing?

I can be certain that there are FCC employees who own AT&T phones, Verizon phones, T-Mo phones, Sprint and etc. There may be one or two roaming in this forum.

Right Rico, I think these forums will give you a better idea as to what is going on rather than taking some poll or asking people to respond to surveys where they probably aren't answering honestly.

YOu're right, I wish I can find the link where one of the major online magazines tapped into this very forum and written an article about trends going on from customer comments right here. I can see DOJ and FCC utilizing the same thing to get passed what atT is "telling" them their customers think and feel, and get it right from the customers themselves. and like you 've said, not from some survey thats halfheartedly filled out most of the time.. I never really follow "surveys"
Just like when you read a survey that "chocolate is bad for you" (Millions spent on such) then , you hear survey "Chocolate is good for you" (another milion$$ spent)... just go to the people and let their voices give you the acutal or a better analysis.

Exactly right Rico, the old "show me what one study says and I'll you another that says different". You have to be in the trenches to get a more accurate picture.
