I have been patiently waiting for 3g coverage at my home( zip 67301) for over a year now. I can drive 45 mins south or east and get it. I was wondering is there a way to find out exactly when I will get coverage. I have been a ATT customer for 7 years and I am considering leaving them in Jan when my contract is up. Thank You.

After submitting Mark the Spot reports for months about slow data speeds around Indy, I finally got a message a couple of days ago that said: "AT&T appreciates your Mark the Spot feedback - Data Related incident from Independence, KS on 12/07/11 @07:56 PM. We are pleased to inform you that we are expanding 3G coverage into the area near your submission in the next 60-90 days. Thank you, AT&T."
If it's right, we should have 3G by the end of June at the latest.

Woohoo! I'm seeing "4G" on my iPhone 4S in Independence today. Speedtest.net has the speed at 3775 kbps down and 1545 kbps up! I was coming and going between 4G and E all afternoon, but this evening I haven't seen anything but 4G.

That 4G is replacing the dreaded "E", so I'll take it! 3G or 4G - I am just happy it's so much faster than EDGE. The best speedtest.net result I've seen so far is 3777 kbps down and 1799 kbps up.
