Not Receiving Texts Until Later & Missing Calls

So, I have a Samsung Captivate Glide and I had issues with my first one but I was able to get a replacement. However, over the past several months, I've been experiencing a major issue that I'm not sure is a problem with AT&T Coverage (considering I never have had problems before) or if it's my device. I don't receive text messages until long after people have sent them to me and people can't get ahold of me. When they call, my phone will just ring and ring. I don't even know they've tried to call until they finally can get through and say "Why haven't you called me back?" Since this has started, I try to remember to check from time to time whether or not my phone is working. I will have all bars but if I try to call my voice mail, it will just hang and then cancel the call. When I try again, it will go through. The issue is I don't always know this is happening. I will think my phone is working until I finally get a text and find out they sent it long earlier. Is anyone else experiencing this??

Oh yes, experiencing that on a Samsung Captivate regularly.

Texts show up hours later.

Incoming calls go to voicemail and the voicemail notification shows up days later.  (that got me in hot water with the wife until she witnessed it happen)

And the list goes on........

I have had the same problem with the Infuse, maybe it's a Samsung issue but I wouldn't count out the network coverage.

Well I have an LG Thrill and I recently started having that problem.  Missed calls, no missed call notification, then all of a sudden a voice mail.  And my text messages are sometimes delayed, I'll receive for example, 5 texts from the same person sent out over a period of 1 hour, but I get them all at once.  What seems to be the problem?  I have contacted AT&T but they were no help.

I'm having the same issues with an iPhone so I'm certain it's the network....after more than a week of runaround from CS they finally said I needed to format my phone and start over with it, not re set from the cloud or computer based backup. At my wits end I went ahead and tried it......guess what? SAME PROBLEMS! I've been a long time AT&T customer with my personal lines and business lines but this terrible customer service and no real answers as to what's causing the problem (my wife and local friends are having the same problems lately too) we are now switching carriers and I will never say a good word about AT&T again.....such a shame.

I am also having this issue over the last 60 days or so spread out over 5 lines with different phones. This is absolutely unacceptable as I do business with these phones. I pay a lot of money for my phones to work, but At&t seems to be ignoring this thread. If this isn't resolved immediately, I'll be exiting my contract for it.

Also, this isn't a local problem. In the last 30 days I have been to 3 major cities in 3 different time zones with different phones. I wonder how many people don't even know they're having a problem yet.

Exact same issues with Nokia Lumina and folks in the store want to blame the phone.  It is the network!!!   Junk!!!!!

I have the HTC One X and I have been having the same issue for over 2 month. It does this randomly but its most of the time.

Have no idea anyone has even called unless I have a voicemail and the text are delayed from minutes to hours.

I have contacted ATT, Tech support etc and its always an excuse.They have sent me 2 other HTC One X and they both have done the exact  same thing.

HTC tells me it is a network issue. Ive noticed the several different phones people are  using and 23 are having the same issue...

I have an HTC One X as well and been having the same issues (delayed text, calls not received) .  getting the same run around from customer no service and had a new phone sent out as it was obviously a phone issue.  New phone same problems...  really encouraging to see how many other people are having the same problem and how little has been done to fix it.......

Hello all,

I have been having this issue since last 2 months. I have done everything as per AT&T's guidelines but nothing worked. (changed SIM, changed phones, factory resets) Even after all this AT&T is not ready to admit its fault. And they are treating this issue as "User Issue"

I have posted on AT&T's facebook page and I seem to be getting responce from AT&T. I also received a call from AT&T public relations this morning. If you all can comment about your frustration on the link provided below and describe that you are having the same issue, we can get good visibility and hopefully solve the issue. If not, we can include media like Engadet, The Verge and others to get media coverage. Please comment your issue on the link below. Thanks a lot in advance.

I have the same problem for months know. With my 4G LTE phones. I have a 3G and a 4G that don't seem to have the issue.

They have sent me 3 different HTC phones, and My newest GS3 has same issue. Same run around (phones or towers). So I started looking around and there is a lot of people with this issue. Forget about a credit for there bad service. You can't even get out of your contract. Even if it is there problem. Time to move on to another carrier and bit the termination fees. Because it really isn't worth paying top dollar for for poor service. Customer since 2004.

I've had the problem for over a year with a 3G phone.

After multiple calls to 611 and still having the issue, I gave up.

According to my last conversation with tech support, it's a rare issue and I'm the only one having it. The problem must be my phone and the only cure is to upgrade the phone (with a new 2 year contract) and hope the problem goes away.

 I have the the exact same issue with my one x. Not sure i think it is a 4glte fault. It has messed with my life, my kids life, and affected my girlfriend as well. Not sure I can stand much more. Its obviousley a problem. Can I contact some customer service specialist ?

I am having the exact same issue with my HTC one x, and it is causing me problems with my family and friends. my wife who has an iPhone doesn't experience the issue, this leads me think that it might be an android issue.

AT&T NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP IF YOU DON'T MASS EXODUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
