determine if cell tower is down?

Hi, I have suddely gotten very bad cell reception (3G) at my house. It started about 5 days ago. Does AT&T post info anywhere online about cell towers that are down, or other changes that affect coverage?

No they do not publicly post information about degraded or down cell sites. Your best bet is to call customer care and request a network trouble ticket for the area you are experiencing the issue(s).

Hi I live in Hartsdale, NY and have problems with cell phones since last week. ATT cust service said it is a problem with a tower that would be solved in 72 hours. But more than 5 days have passed and still not service....

I haven't been able to get any reception in my apt for the past 10 days. I've spoken to numerous customer service reps and not one person has been able to tell me when the degraded tower in my area (NYC) will be fixed.

Is anyone else having this problem? I've done every reset possible and nothing works.

I'm ready to change carriers.

Customer care can not tell you when something will get fixed. All they can do is report it.

I use the gee whiz mark your spot app because I use a dumb phone.

There's no online support available.

8 years overseas, 10 different sims from 10 different countries. This is the most painful telephone experience in the world

Can't fix it, can't report it.

I've had no service on my phone for about 5hrs now and it's NOT because I didnt pay the bill... Is there a tower down? And if so how do I find out? Because I obviously can't call them.. And also how long will it take for this problem to be solved? I can't be without my work phone for that long... Thank you..
