iPad has "no service" ?

Within the last hour i apparently lost service to my iPad. I'm connected to my wi-fi but next to that is "no service". I'm in NJ...is there an outage or is anyone else experiencing this? thanks for any info.

I would call AT&T directly and ask them. You might find a quicker answer than waiting here for someone else in your area.

apparently there is some type of outage going on ...few people i spoke to have no data also.

I live in PA and there are no outages here. Probably just something temporary going on in your area in which case your data service should return shortly.
