This is my first post on here. That being said I'd like to express dissapointment in ATT. I have been a user for 8 years and have never really had any issues with ATT. I have three iphones on my plan and am starting to see this "out of network" popping up on the phones. I understand the issue and am somewhat preplexed at the problem. I am within range of at least two ATT towers. The problem is they are being over powered by a metro pcs tower. I've talked to ATT service reps and keep getting the same old answers. How is it my fault that ATT's equipment isn't up to parr and why should I be the one to suffer? I pay 30 a month for data plans on all three phones, 90$ down the drain every month because ATT can't or wont fix this issue. Total bill every month is around 250$. Thats alot of money every year that ATT will be losing, I am to the point of canceling my service and moving to another provider. Why pay good money for crappy service, uncaring reps? I've researched this problem and it seems this is a trending problem for ATT. Wonder how ATT will feel when there is a mass exodus from their customers?
I ask you this: liken this problem to renting a car for X amount of dollars a month, now find out you can only drive the car 24 miles a month. Whats the sense of renting the car?
By the way, when I do change providers, I'll be spreading the word like wildfire that ATT service isnt worth a darn. Facebook is an awesome tool to reach the masses.

Look at Mexia, Tx and someone please explain why there's an issue with data coverage.

I've taken a look at the data coverage map for my area. And there is no reason that I should be experiencing an "out of network" problem.

That's right. Mexia should have good data coverage, based on AT&T. The town seems to be on flat terrain, without tall and/or dense trees and without many high rises as far as I can tell. Based on Sensorly, it appears that the signals are good near major roads/highways.
Also take a look here.
