Hi,
I apologize you're having this issue. Have you tried restarting you modem by unplugging it, waiting 10 seconds and plugging it back in? Please let me know if this resolves the issue.
Thank you,
JustinF

So only 10 seconds is required before reconnecting the ac cable to the RG? I do and recommend waiting 30 seconds.

Hi,
If you are still having a speed issue on your DSL or Uverse I suggest you contact them either in their forum or call at 1-800-288-2020. They should be able to assist if it's a line issue.
Thank you,
JustinF

Justin,
In regard to unplugging and re-plugging the modem: there's a warning, in my modem's manual, to leave the modem plugged in and connected for the first 10 days after installation, to optimize the connection. That implies, to me, that turning it on and of actually impairs it from optimal operation. I am having slow internet after having a DSL upgrade and I don't know which of the contradictory suggestions to take.
Also - Is there a speed test that you can point us to so we can get an acurate reading of actual speeds? Most of the ones I've used, in the past, seem to be more marketing devices than accurate tests.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
I apologize that you're having this issue. Speedtest.net can be used to check your current speed. If you are not within the speeds you were promised after the upgrade please call 1-800-288-2020 and they can test the line to check for errors. I would go that route first if the speed test shows you aren't getting the proper speed.
Thank you,
JustinF
