Why not just activate it at ATT?  I would be surprised if they sell you the phone at a discounted price without having you sign the contract. If you buy the phone at full retail without the contract, you don't need the contract from the other seller either.

Still do not get why you would not just activate the phone with att.? Unless they are doing something odd the plan prices should be the same. I just would not expect AT&T to just sell you a discounted phone without a contract.

the ability to edit is on a timer, you can edit until the timer expires, I think it is like 10 minutes

Again,  why not sign up directly with ATT where you can get the phone you want?  What is so special about comporium?

ATT is not going to let you buy a phone at a discount without a contract from them!  If you want to sign up through comporium, you are going to need to buy a phone that they are willing to sell you.

We are just customers like you but why comprium?  Just buy from ATT if they have the phone you want.

Then you are limited to what they offer and/or pay a lot more to bring a different phone to them.
