Currently I have the 450 minute voice plan, the 2GB data plan for $25, the 200 text message plan for $5.00, along with a 15% FAN discount from my union, I plan on pre ordering the new iPhone from Apples website on September 12th, so my question is I'd like to keep all my plan elements the same, can I? Also I'd be ordering thru Apple is there any upside to ordering thru AT&T or does it not matter?
Thank you, Steve...

Typically, AT&T has allowed people to keep their grandfathered plans, but no one knows if they will change that. I think a big question about the data plan depends on if the next iPhone is LTE. They may have new LTE plan pricing that you would have to swap to if you want the next iPhone.
I have a small discount from my employer and my feeling is that if you have a FAN, it's better to order through AT&T Premier than risking Apple getting something wrong. That's how I went with my last two iPhones.

Thank you dwill05,
Sound advice, guess I'll find out on September 10th how things will work out. Enjoy the Holiday.
