Well, I went off to get myself and wife i phones 4s today, had checked my acct. was available for upgrade, however after reaching best buy they checked my wifes acct wasnt available for another 5-10 days. My first thought was no big deal, its only 5 days?? boy was I wrong, told the guy who was helping me, Id call ATT and was sure 5 days was no bid deal and ATT would wave it. after being on hold and getting passed around for about 20mins, was informed by the last att rep, they would not be able to wave 5 days, I would have to wait WOW SERIOUSLY!!!!
Ive only had one wirless carrier since we first got cell phones, been loyal ATT customer for 6 years,,,and they wont wave 5 days, not to mention ATT was gonna get 2 data plans out of it...
So apparently my 6yrs of loyalty was rewarded, SORRY sir your not worth 5 days....
So I left the store totally disgusted with ATT. apparently not worth 5 days. So I bought no phones and att got no data plans. if your lucky I will keep my service?????
Seriously Disgusted Loyal ATT customer

Apparently nothing. You may notice when you are up for an upgrade you pay the same thing a new customer pays for the phone. There is no discount, as long as you are committing to 2 years you get the same rates if you are new or if you are upgrading.
Smiles,
Rebecca

A contract was signed, has nothing to do with loyality, you get a discounted phone in return to agreeing that you will commit for 2 years, at then end of that time you get the same offer that a new customer gets - a discount on your next phone. Has nothing to do with loyality, just a business contract
