At one time in the past, AT&T was known for good customer service, but that is no longer the case.
I have been using a pre-paid account with automatic refill. Something went wrong and my phone was not refilled and as a result I lost over $125 in accumulated minutes. This same problem had also occurred about a year ago, but that time they were able to fix it.
When I talked to the customer service rep this afternoon, she denied that I was ever on automatic refill, and claimed that I had used all my minutes. A check of my account showed only two calls at $0.25 each. She refused to try to correct the situation, and hanged up on me during our discussion.
You have my money this time, but never again. I am changing to Virgin Mobile.
As a partially handicapped senior, living on my Social Security benefits, I had that phone for emergency use, and typically made and received fewer than 5 calls per month. Your actions have endangered my health and life!
I will be sure to inform anyone who should ask to avoid AT&T.

Your income (or lack of it) may qualify you to receive a FREE cellphone with FREE minutes & texts every month. You should check which carriers participate in the program where you live. Assurance Wireless on the Sprint Network does it for New York State.
