I started my $50 a monthly unltd pay as you go phone September 15, 2011. AT&T has been slowing moving up the expiration date a day at a time, going from the next $50 due the 13th, then the 12th, and this month now on the 11th. Does anybody have any experience with this? Explanation? Solution? I wondered if they were cheating calling it a monthly plan but really meant 30 days, but September had 30 days, so changing it to the 13th in October makes no sense. What good is power if you can't abuse it, I guess.

I went and checked at the AT&T Store where I set up my go phone account. The $50 MONTHLY Unlimited plan is not a monthly plan. It is a 30 day plan. This was never brought to my attention and it seems obvious to me AT&T is purposefully deceiving the public calling it a monthly plan. And this of course so they can collect an extra 5 days a year of revenue, 6 days this year a Leap Year. That's 1/5 of a month extra revenue. And of course there is nothing on line or calling, using a go phone to allow true customer support and find this out. They have the whole deal sewn up having it fully automated so they don't really have to address any real issues, don't have to hire employees to do so, and hence increase profits even more. Fortunately, the market prevails in our economy with competition, and that's why they had to drop their price to $50, and hopefully will develop a true monthly plan when they start losing business by how they are choosing to run their business!

Hello!
I am new with AT&T, and so far the service has been good. However, I ran into trouble when it came to request to extend my payment arrangement by 7 days. I called in, and could not get anyone that spoke clear English. So I tried to do this online by "starting a chat" and it seemed like my question was answered with the question I asked. It was very frustrating. The customer service with AT&T is below par, and I still have a 2 year contract. Can anyone tell me how to actually get a payment arrangement attached to your next bill or extend without loosing service?
Thank you.
