Getting Imei

I have a very similar case to the thread at the very bottom

I have an iPhone that I want to use with the prepaid sim card I just bought. When I tried to input the imei for the iphone, it doesn't allow me. I need a "bogus" imei like the thread below me.

Could any AT&T personal help me please?

Iphones are not supported for prepaid sims, there are ways to get it to work partially on the ATT network - best bet is to google it

yeah but I heard from numerous people that AT&T doesn't mind allowing you to use prepaid for your iphone because they are still getting business

Back then I remember they didn't allow it but these days they are much more lenient

edit: example would be the link to the other thread i added, that user contacted AT&T and got their iphone to work with prepaid no problem. I would do the same but I don't have a phone to call AT&T which is why i'm trying to contact them via forums or email but can't seem to get in contact with any AT&T reps

I'm not looking to get a data plan with wifi

I just want the prepaid to be activated on my iphone so I can use Talk/Text only

I know AT&T has done this for many people in the past and i'm hoping some AT&T rep could see this thread and help me out please

I don't think it matters, Just try all 0's.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't need to be a certain number, just make one up, I think they are 15 digits long.

I am not for sure on this but i'm pretty sure.

You may call customer service at 8003310500 and they can help you activate your sim for your iphone. It just doesnt work when you try to do it, as what was mentioned iphones are not advised to be used for Gophone service. But if you want to, you may, just have the sim activated and you can use Talk and Text on your Iphone.
