GoPhone data feature package no longer available on daily or minute plans

Recently it appears there was a substantial change in the preapid terms of service. I wasn't informed of an impending change.

I'm on the $.10 a minute plan and have had a renewing data and text feature packages. When I noticed that my texts were again $.20, I discovered that the data feature packages are no longer available on GoPhone's minute plans. Both my data and text plan were not renewed, and substantial balances on both feature packages were lost.

Is there any way to recover the balances on my old plans, or to receive a credit for the used data and text messages that have disappeared?

I tried that first and was told there wasn't anything anyone could do.

I started looking for online support which led me to this forum. So far, it looks like I lost about $50 in accumulated data and the balance of my accumulated text messaging when they didn't automatically renew under the new terms of service.

You may want to talk to another CSR, and tell them that you were not informed of the changes that became effective on 4/18/2012.
