I just activated my Samsung Focus S on GoPhone. I had Boost and ported over my #. I purchased the $50 unlimited and a data plan. Since the activation I can make and recieve calls, send txts, and use wifi BUT I cannot recieve txts or use data. It says 'we are unable to connect' 'please connect to wifi or purchase a data plan'. I have spoken with 3 different people from customer care who have done everything under the sun to my phone and the last resort was to tell me that it could be because I just ported my # and it can take upto 24 hours for the port to complete....What this has to do with my data plan I don't know...Somebody please help me help at&t so I don't lose out on the $$$ I spent on this stupid phone.

Just to make this clear, you bought both the $50 unlimited plan and a separate data plan, right? Smartphones don't work with the unlimited data included with the $50 plan.
