Should've never bothered with AT&T (help badly/urge ntly needed)... .

So this is a GoPhone i've had only 4 days now, everything brand-new. First 2 days were great and the last 2 days it's been useless....barely able to make calls in my house where I mainly use it and when it does connect the call doesn't last more than a minute. Texting practically forget about it pretty much......IF it goes through it's after 5 or 6 attempts and turning the phone off twice.
I can't call customer service which is RIDICULOUS because I badly need help like now....I didn't know that would not be available to GoPhone customers.

Sounds like a bad phone or SIM that needs to be replaced. Go to the store you got the phone at and have them swap things out for you.

That can happen with a brand-new SIM? This is a new phone and the SIM came with it.
