Switched SIM card from old phone to new phone. Worked for a day, now I cannot send anything.

The old phone was a Blackberry. I bought an AT&T SIM card and got a prepaid plan for it. It always worked. But, the phone was old and was, quite literally, falling apart. So I bought a new phone (AT&T Fusion). It came with a SIM card, but I didn't want to pay for the service I already had twice (I have 10 cents/minute, unlimited texting). So I removed the SIM card from the Blackberry and placed it in the Fusion. For the first day, it worked completely. I could text and call. But this morning, all of the sudden, I get "send failed" even with a signal, and any calls placed direct me to the AT&T support center.

How can I fix this? Can I keep the old SIM card in the phone and do something else so I can still use it?

- I do not want a new phone number.

- I want to keep using the Unlimited texting I bought (I have about half a month left of it).

How can I make this work?

Got it fixed. Apparently, Walmart didn't "authenticate" my purchase of the phone, so it was put on restriction until I sent them a scan of my receipt.

can someone give me advise, all i did was change phones. took the sim card out of one and put it in another, they are both att phones but now i cant use the phone, please help
