Hi,
Im going on a trip to the us starting in denver, co (2 months).
I want to use the the following on my Motorola Defy MB 525:
$25/mo Monthly Plan
+ $10/mo "International Long Distance Package"
+ $25 1GB Data Package
My questions are:
- where to buy this in denver?
- Are all the packages compatible with the monthly plan?
- Can i use up the 1GB over 2 months, or will it be per month?
regards
stefan

You can find a store by clicking "Find a Store" at the top right hand area of the forum screen.
The plan you have listed above should work, assuming that you have an unlocked GSM phone.
You will have to renew the 1 GB data package on a monthly basis.

Not necessarily. He can rollover the balance left over from the 1GB data using the $5/50MB package.
1st month:
$25/mo Monthly Plan
+ $10/mo "International Long Distance Package"
+ $25 1GB Data Package
=$60
2nd month:
$25/mo Monthly Plan
+ $10/mo "International Long Distance Package"
+ $5 50MB Data Package
=$40

actually i was thinking about saving some bucks by taking the 1GB and using it up in 2 months instead of 2x200mb for 30$.
Thanks for the advice with the 5$ 50MB package! 100$/2months seems like a fair price for all that...
will i have to use the GoPhone Payment Center online or can i go in any at&t store and get this all this done?

I would prefer to have the activation and payment done in an AT&T store in person.
I have noticed that people tried them from outside the US without success. BUT I could be wrong. I recall that there was a web site that claimed that you could have a new SIM and phone ready before you visit a country. Their prices are quite high so that the alternate for most people would be to get the phone ready to use when they arrive at their destination. In some Asian countries you can get a new phone ready to use right at the airport, and there's those European countries where you can get a phone ready at a store in the alley.
