It is possible to walk into an AT&T corporate store and activate a factory unlocked iPhone 4S on GoPhone with the $50 Unlimited Talk & Text plan with the $25 1GB data add-on feature?

AT&T doesn't allow iPhone 4S/4 users to pick up unlimited data plan. You have to choose the plan "under contract" but no commitment if you use your own equipment.

Yes, it's possible but it will depend on the willingness of the people at the store to help you out.

To make matters a little easier for the store (but not required) once you get your unlocked iPhone 4S from apple, bring an already activated (by you) GoPhone SIM card (buy the cheapest GoPhone and activate it if you like) so your line and number is already active by the time yo step into the store. They just then need to activate the iPhone for you and replace the regular SIM card with a new micro SIM. But again, it will mostly depends on the people at the store to do it, but it's been done.
