refill card for pay as u go already used?

I bought a pay as u go refill card,but when i called the 1-800- number it said it had already been used?This has happened alot and Im seriously TIRED of it.How can I get these minutes that I paid for added to my go phone account???I have been a go phone customer for over 10 yrs.

I am puzzled. How could that happen? Did you buy that refill card from the same store?

No I bought it at walmart this time.when i entered the pin number it said it had already been used.I had just walked out of the store ,then tried to refill my go phone acct.Will at&t add it to my phone?

I don't know if AT&T will. I assume that when the pin number was read back to you, you double checked the pin.

Have you been able to refill as soon as you get out of the store? I ask because I don't know if point of sale activation is that fast. I've heard that sometimes it takes time for computer data to propagate to the database. You may want to try the refill registration again just in case...

If pin numbers were recycled, you would have a "number been used" problem before the new activation was propagated. Just my $0.02.

it was a half hour after i bought the card,that i walked out of the store.I had to wait for some friends to finish in the store.Yes,I did double check the pin # when it read it back to me.Thank  for trying to answer my ?'s
