Ok here is what we had as of last Tuesday, when everything worked fine:
RG (connected to coax, WAP and had a 50ft ethernet cable that ran to our DVR on the otherside of the livingroom)
DVR (connected via *see above)
Wireless Receiver (in garage/man cave)
3 Wired Receivers in bedrooms (all connected via coax to the wall plates)
BIG STORM
Come home Tuesday to the BBU beeping, we happened to have an "extra" that ATT left during a previous install so I swapped those out and the new one works fine. Turned on the DVR in living room got black screen, all other tvs including wireless working fine. Swapped one of the regular receivers in place of the DVR, same issue, assumed the ethernet cable was toast. In lieu of buying another 50ft cable I called ATT and just ordered another wireless receiver. Received this receiver on Friday and connected it to the living room tv and works fine (now I know we need to keep the DVR somewhere in the house, so when speaking to the ATT rep they asked which receiver would we be sending back and I gave them the info for one of the regular STP that was in a bedroom and I figured I'd throw the DVR up in there) After successfully installing the wireless in the living room I go to a bedroom to swap that box out with the DVR, and it get to the blue ATT Uverse splashscreen with the cirlce and just stays there until it give the client initialization error) On just a hunch I go to the other two bedrooms (whose boxes have not been messed with at all) and those two boxes do the same thing, blue screen, won't connect. The two wireLESS boxes are working fine as is the internet. I called ATT and after running around rebooting everything nothing fixes it. The lady said via her tests/reports it doesn't show our wired STB being connected. She checked the Home PnA thingy, still no dice. End result she sent out a new RG. I just didn't know if there was anything else I could check or try to do, I don't see how it's a RG issue if the two wireless and internet are working fine? Could it be a wiring problem? After one ATT tech visit about a year ago my husband went up in the attic and he said the "box" up there looked like someone had manhandled it, he was pretty upset about that. But everything had been working fine regardless of that. Any suggestions!?!?!

kidfaces13 - The HPNA not working is probably a problem, but the RG replacement may or may not be the solution.
Many years ago I lost an RG after a storm. But, HPNA can fail from a loose connection or a bad splitter or a bad diplexer or bad cable or an unknown connector somewhere in the wiring. Did the installer change all the cable ends to compression on the initial install?
The black screen on the DVR is its own problem. Try the DVR on the cat5 again. It may work. DVR could be bad (Had that happen, too). You could get a shorter cat5, just to try it.

Yeah, we received our new RG yesterday and that didn't fix the problem. I'm thinking it's a coax cable issue. Gonna try to get a tech to come out.
