I just Google'd my way here and it seems like I've found a goldmine of information. ![]()
Just got U-Verse installed on 4/30 and it was fine for the first few days. Now the picture freezes for several seconds at a time on the DVR and normal STB. House was re-wired last year with a new structured wiring panel and multiple CAT 5e/RG6 pulls to every room.
Here's my stats since install, should I be concerned about errors?

Just got off the phone with tier 1 support and they said there was an outage in the Houston area that was being worked on and when the outage was fixed my service would be restored.
Is there an external AT&T NOC page that shows outages and estimated ETA's?

You need a correct ground rod installed at the NID. Remove all grounds from Comcast or Directv that may still be attached. Do not ground to the power box or mast. A stand alone ground rod will solve your problem.
Also chech Broadband advanced settings save and update, then set time and date after reboot If you are using cat5 check the Balin's and terminator ends.
If your cat5 is around power in the wall...there's your RF interference. Just because the wiring is new does not make it right.....99% of all U-Verse problems are not U-Verse equipment, but the install parameters of your house.
Cat5 is NOT shielded, Coax is better.

I remember once asking another ISP about this, and it was brought up at a meeting at an ISP I worked for. Simple answer from management was, well if the Internet is out does the customer really have access to the page to check.
