My TV has One HDMI Port, when the Receiver is plugged directly into the Port - No Problems.
However, I also want to use my PS3 and Laptop via HDMI on my TV so I acquired a HDMI Port Switcher so I could switch between the three as I chose to use them however AT&T Receiver now gives me an error messsage.
Please tell me what I can do so I can enjoy all three?

If you use a separate audio system and your TV has a component input, you could use the digital audio out from uverse to your audio system and component to the TV.

You need a good switch where you change the input.
How about component input? Can you use one or two of those?
Maybe it is time for a new TV??

Hmm, I guess we'll have to see - I already purchased it, because it was only $10 a new TV although a tempting option is not a viable one atm.
If you have any additional suggestions please share.

Do you use a separate audio system or do you rely on the TV for audio? If you use the TV, does it have a sparate digital audio input?

I rely on my TV for audio and I think it has a separate digital input.

Then I would try using the component in and the digital audio in for the Uverse. You'll have to use the input switching on your TV to swap between Uverse and your other devices though.
