The DVR (Digital Video Recorder) is what you use to record programs.
STB (Set Top Box) is like the DVR but doesn't have the main hard drive or oerating system in it like the DVR does.
Using your AT&T remote, follow the instructions that RC posted......
Menu > options > system settings > system resources. You can only get this info on the dvr stb. Only do this as RC said, from the DVR, which shows the numbers on the front of the box VIP1216.

You do have that information. Just need to use the right tool (AT&T remote) to find it. ![]()

I to am looking to find out how much time is left but have the same problem as previous person. No system resources option.
Under system settings i have aspect ratio, system sound effects, on screen language, closed captioning, and system information. Under sysstem information
it list the time client version, platform OS version, boostrp, set top box/cpu:sa ipna, set top box serial number, mac id, client id, and UI:4.2, NO percent showing.
I am looking on the dvr box, what am I missing here?

I found it finally, I was looking for the same info.
Follow the other instructions except you have to go to system settings, then system information then you will see the system resources. That other person left that part out.
