I've been on multiple customer service calls the last 24 hours. We have five TV's. We understand that we can only use four at a time, and the fifth has to be for On Demand ect.. We unplugged the fifth receiver and remodled our room. Now when we plug it in we are getting an error and the box doesn't work in this room. When we call AT&T I spend hours on the phone getting transfered only to be told we're not allowed to have a fifth reciever. We have had this reciever for 11 months. Is there anyone I can talk to to get this resolved? I'm pretty annoyed now that I've wasted in excess of four hours on the phone the last four days. When I call customer service, they say it shouldn't be an issue and patch me through to technical support who then says we can't have the fifth reciever and to call customer support, who then refers us back to tech support.

Try swapping with one that works to see if it is the box or the wire. While either could fail, the most likely problem us what you touched. Did you plug it into the same jack?
Don't know about watching on-demand as the fifth signal (doubt it). Watch a recording or duplicate of another box.

That's what I thought. We are suposed to hear from a manager, but it's been a circular issue that we just keep getting transfered to someone else.
Also, when I read, I saw that with U300 and above, we're suposed to get the first two recievers at no additional charge. Are you being charged for four of your five, or just three? I'm refering to the $7 a month fee for the extra recievers.
