I finally got around to dumping my old router and converting to use the 2Wire Gateway. (I am having second thoughts about that decision, but that's a different thread.
I had an environment of 810.11b devices including TiVo, so I could only get 128 bit WEP to work. I bit the bullet and upgraded all my wireless adapters to 810.11G, but I still have to use 128 bit WEP to get the TiVo to work.
With no MAC Filtering activated I automatically have all my current devices MAC list, but when I activate MAC filtering a couple of boxes won't communicate with the router.
Any ideas on why MAC filtering is causing certain boxes not to communicate? (given that the MAC addresses of those devices are in my list of allowed devices)
