My STBs as of earlier this week are showing a new TV2 Client version and UI version:
TV2 Client: 2.1.2295.10
UI: 5.4.4
Previously for phase 3 we had seen two other TV2 Client versions: 2.0.26496.12 and 2.0.26496.15.
I'm not sure what this new version does, I have not been able to find anything in the interface that seems different than before. I suspect it may fix the "Exit to TV" issue, and/or may also have more support for the new U-Verse Enabled Applications on channel 9301.
hpmsrm stated he received this update a few days ago, but I don't think anyone observed the fact that this update is in fact newer than either of the 2.0.x releases.
If anyone notices any new behavior, please post it here.

No news on if the update hit Indianapolis or not but last night, I had to press "Exit to TV" about 10 times in one hour! I've never had that problem be that long lasting - usually 1x or 2x/day.

I'm in the Indy metro area and will check when I get home. As of yesterday, one of our STBs still required the occasional press of "Exit to TV". Strangely, it's only that one which requires it on any sort of regular basis. And the DVR never needs it -- although we use a Harmony 650 with the DVR instead of the U-verse remote. Probably coincidental; maybe the bug is in software which is different between the STB and the DVR.

Did cold boot (disconnected AC input) on DVR and STBs. Confirmed that I am still at TV2 Client version 2.0.26496.12

Yep...as SJ said....we got the update a few days back to TV2 Client: 2.1.2295.10 but I also have not been able to see any differences. Of course I admit that we're pretty settled on our routine and don't check around to experiment with the different functions that we don't use anyway. I have looked at that device-enabling situation but when I got a screen that looked suspiciously like an extra-cost feature I bailed out of it and went back to the stuff I know how to use. I was kind of hoping that it might allow streaming of program from the Internet via my PC and our home net to the DVR & TV without needing any additional cable. But now I'm just guessing and I cannot verify this. I'm also open to any and all thoughts from the rest of you.

I came home tonight at 23:30 to find my set-top box alerting me of an update. It updated me to TV2 Client version 2.1.2295.10 as well.
So far the visible changes are as follows:
1. There are animation effects when navigating through the various menus.
2. There's now a Message Center accessible via Menu | Help | Message Center
3. Related to #1, but the menus feel faster when navigating through them.

Actually, the Message Center has been there for a while.

It always amazes me ....
Micro$oft keeps a lot of their "bugfixes" a secret, unless for some reason, they're related to some sort of possible security breach.
Almost all of the freeware that I run --- maintained and constructed by a lot of those 'geeks' who self-taught themselves, over paying for university-issued certification --- puts out a TXT file with bugs fixed over previous releases, improvements included, and other information.
Two of the items on the Uverse Complaints HotList are the DD5.1 audio problems, and slowness regarding remote processes. Let's say they finally find ways to fix those. Considering the track record, would they actually tell customers about those, or just let people find out on their own? If they DID decide to let people know, it sure wouldn't be on these forums.

Finally have it in my part of Houston, a couple of days behind SomeJoe. ![]()
And I just checked yesterday, it wasn't updated (problems with all boxes not rewinding live TV!).

Another issue that seems to have been resolved by the firmware update is that my remote would be severely lagging in responding. It would lag so bad that my set-top box would reboot by itself.

I had a tech here recently to replace my DVR. He said the latest update contains 18 major bug fixes and 43 minor ones (I think those numbers are right), but he didn't say anything about new functionality. He specifically mentioned the not-responding-to-remote issue.

The only thing I could find different is if you go to the "enabled apps" area (which has been there for a while), it now shows the name of the 4 current "enabled apps" and information about them. (sadly, they are all iJunk apps... no android yet
)

And being an iPhone user myself, I'll take RC's suggestion and return to topic--I also got the update a couple of days ago in SE Wisconsin, but have not noticed any functional changes. The only thing that I see regards the Listings Info. For a time, some (including me) were posting that the listings info was denoted as "-1" instead of the current version. When Phase 3 came along, I found that the DVR TV showed the correct listings version, but that the 2 STB TVs displayed -1. The guide, however seemed to be correct. Now that the TV2 client version has been updated, both STB TVs show the correct listings version. The guide is still correct, so there has been no functional difference.

Something is going on here since yesterday, and I'm blaming the update!
CONSTANT freezing with pixelating, almost like a wipe across the screen, but only affects one side of picture at a time. SLOW channel changes. Have done the usual fixes, but it's still happening, on all boxes/TVs. ![]()
Anyone else seeing this, especially in (red-headed step-child) Houston? ![]()

You got the new TV2 client on November 2nd, correct? Anything else change between then and yesterday?
Hope you and AT&T are able to find a solution fast!

Thanks for the report. I wasn't having any problems either since the 2nd, just started yesterday. Think it may be time for a 3801HGV.

Strange, Sunday I restarted the DVR and ended up w/the old release 2.0.26496.15, UI:5.3.6, wonder what's up w/that now?
Edit: it's the same as this one:
